The Legacy of Antonin Scalia
His truths came from the wrong century
BIODate: 2/14/16About: Bio: Written proximate to Scalia's death when the author held an institutionalist view of the Court. The subsequent overturning of Roe, years later, affected the author's institutionalist critique. This writing assumes that institutionalism is generally correct, and that the scholarship arising from the 60's generation, concerning political courts, was misguided save for the few exceptions, like Scalia, who could stand as suitors in its favor.
