In a flash

You have a sense of clarity that you can “see” for a moment. But it is only a flash in the brain. And when you set about to see it as a map (in detail), it is gone. And so, as if blindfolded, you take a shovel dig here, there, and somewhere else. Nothing then results but three shallow holes. But you know there exists both a treasure and its path in the proximate area where you are digging.
