My position on daylight savings time is revolutionary. We need more fallbacks. Turn the clocks back twice monthly. If we fell back one hour twice a month, we'd have 24 hours to make up at the end of the year. Simple: just cancel a day. So December would end on the 30th. That would be New Year's Eve. Who would care? The system wouldn't be based upon daylight; it would be based upon sleep. Everyone could get a free hour of sleep provided by the government once every two weeks. If I ever run for president, this is going to be my key issue. You are either for the Fair Sleep Act or you are out to lunch.
